Welcome to the 2023-2024 Regular Season Registration!

This registration session will allow you to register and remit payment for the 2023-2024 Season, sign consent forms & complete emergency contact information.  At this time there will be no formal in-person registration.   

 
The 2023-2024 season will kick off in October with practice & evaluations for Squirts (U10), PeeWees (U12) and Bantams (U14), and November for LTP (4 yr old), Mini Mites (U6) & Mites (U8).  Please keep an eye on the calendar for specifics as we “tweak” the schedule over the next several weeks.   As a reminder our Learn to Play program is now called Mini Mites, this program will be geared towards kids 6 and under.  The minimum age requirement for registration into the Learn to Skate program is 4.  If you are requesting an exception please email us at Ricelakehockey@gmail.com.  
 
All volunteer checks will be required upon entry to the first week of practice for Squirts, PeeWees & Bantams on October 16th & 17th.  Mites will be required to turn in volunteer checks on November 6th at their first practice. Wreath details, along with a few new fundraiser opportunities will be emailed out  in the coming weeks, be on the look out for this information.  Families can either turn in their completed order forms hitting the sales goal on October 16th and 17th or on the due date that will be posted.  
 
Please register early to ensure that you continue to receive our emails!  Our email list is based off our registration list and we will discontinue using the 2022-2023 registration list and switch over to the 2023-2024 registration list in early November.
 
RLHA will continue to offer FREE registration to kids in the Learn to Skate program (birthdate in the 2019-2020 age range)!!!  Note: USA Hockey does have a mandatory membership rate for all players, you can find this fee out here.  RLHA recognizes that hockey equipment (and sports in general) is expensive, but we want ALL kids who desire to play hockey - to play hockey!  If there is a financial burden that prohibits you from registering your son or daughter please contact us as we don't want anyone not to play. 
 

As always, RLHA has hockey equipment for kids in the LTP, Mini Mites & Mites program.  Please keep an eye on the calendar and your email for information on equipment hand-out.  We also have a limited supply of equipment available to Squirts, PeeWees and Bantams if needed.  Please email us if you need help acquiring equipment.

USA HOCKEY MEMBER REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey for their USA Hockey Number and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2023-2024 Season.

 

Please note:  USA Hockey registration fees are separate from Rice Lake Hockey Registration fees.  Fees are different based on your birth year, so please check out the USA Hockey Registration site here for your child's specific fees.  These fees from USA Hockey and WAHA do not come back to RLHA .  

 

  • Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number. 
  • Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed to the continue button at the bottom of the page.  Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.

Payment Options

OPTION 1

PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Pay the total registration fee upon completion of the registration session with your Visa, MasterCard, Discover Credit/Debit Card or you can use your checking account to pay online.  If you do not have any of these forms of payment you can set up arrangements to get us a check.

 

OPTION 2

PAYMENT PLAN ONLINE: A deposit is due upon completion of the registration session with the remaining payments to be debited from the same account in November, December, January & February.

Payment options will be chosen at the Shopping Cart section of the registration.

USA Birthdate Guidelines

USA Hockey requires that players are registered to play under the birthdate guidelines below, you can also find the age classifications here.
